Biomass Pellet Mill - An Environment Guardian

Biomass pellet production is rising gradually with the development of environmental protection. It has a broad prospect for its environment-friendly effect. After the process of wood crushing, the moisture of powder is as high as 20% to 40%, so drying is needed to reduce the moisture to10%. Cooling can also reduce the moisture of pellets, which ensures the quality of the end product and that pellets are easy to be stored.

Above gives only one material to talk about biomass pellet mill. As a matter of fact, there are numerous other materials that can be used as raw materials for biomass pellet mill, such as agricultural raw materials including all kinds of straw (maize straw, wheat straw, canola straw, cotton straw), peanut shell, reed, bagasse etc, which are agricultural wastes. If they are burned directly, there would be huge amounts of carbon emissions, which could intensify the greenhouse effect. However, if those materials are made into pellets, the problem of carbon emission can be solved. Besides, urban wood wastes (tree removals along the highway, untreated salvaged lumber and scrap wood) can be also a kind of biomass raw material. Those wood wastes in urban area are usually burned directly or sent to the local landfill, which is a pollution for environment and a waste for energy. In fact, they can be produced  into pellets used as heating fuel or for other usage.

Pellets are not only products that bring profit to manufacturers, but also environmental guardian for our earth.
